- Kerry Robert Associates are recruiting for a Finance Manager for an iconic 5-star hotel located in central London. This position requires a strong individual, who comes from a 4- or 5-star hotel background and is extremely commercial and hands on in managing a Finance team. Having a self-accounting background is also important.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Director of Finance and executive Management team, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, financial reporting and forecasting, compliance, and providing financial insights to support the company’s financial objectives.Requirements
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of accounting and management accounts
- Ensures the set out policies for internal controls and policies are being fully complied
- Prepare Monthly financial statements including Balance sheet and cash flow and full analysis.
- Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing
- Support the budgets process and the monthly forecasting process.
- Participate in preparation for the annual audit to UK Accounting standards.
- Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
- Review operational costs with HOD and executive team in line with Budget and Business trends.
Skills needed:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel is essential, and accounting studies is preferred
- Highly organized, multitasking individual with a positive hands-on attitude and a team player
- Manage and motive a team of 3 to 4 and to develop and enhance their skills.
- Ability to manage varying needs and prioritising to ensure the best business results
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Effective written communication skills including the ability to prepare excel reports and proposalsBenefits
Salary plus 10% TRONC paid monthly.
