Associates is seeking a Corporate Accountant to provide strong
financial support to a well-established and expanding hotel company in London.
You will support the group in managing and overseeing the preparation of financial statements, asset accounting, balance sheets, supporting year end accounts and managing inter company transactions.

About the role:
- Preparing
monthly financial statements, supporting the month-end closing process across the
group
- Keeping inter company statements updated
- Balance-sheet
reconciliations and highlighting risks across the group
- Monitor
and analyse hotel performance by applying corporate measurements, and key
performance indicators.
- Compiling
reports and statistics for senior management
- Continuous
benchmarking of performance against internal and external competition,
identifying trends and highlighting opportunities.
- Improving
internal controls and compliance
Requirements
- Have
an in-depth understanding of the hospitality industry and its dynamics
- Part
qualified/qualified accountant (highly desirable)
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience acquired in a hospitality setting
- Head
office experience (desirable)
- Commercially
focused individual
- Good
understanding of P&L statements, balance sheets and cash-flow statements
- Strong
command of Excel and other finance software, an advantage
- Able
to interact and communicate effectively with colleagues from other departments and
at all levels
- Good
organisational skills, capable of prioritising tasks and attention to detail

- Working pattern: Working on site 4 days, with the option of working 1 day from
home.
