Description
Kerry Robert Associates is delighted to be recruiting for a Financial Controller to manage and lead a team of finance professionals at a luxury hotel in the Caribbean islands.
 
As a Financial Controller you will be taking ownership of all hotel’s financial operations such as reporting, budgeting, internal controls, payroll and compliance.
 
This is an exciting opportunity suitable for a hands-on and commercial Financial Controller with a hospitality or hotel background looking to broaden their working experience outside of the UK.


 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Managing KPI’s including payroll, accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
  • Carry out monthly P&L/balance sheet reviews.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, journals, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and support internal and external audits.
  • Comply with company policies, tax requirements, and local regulations.
  • Lead, support and develop the finance team.


Requirements


  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Hospitality or Hotel Finance Manager or Financial Controller.
  • Commercial and with excellent knowledge of hotels or hospitality industry.
  • Self-accounting experience (desirable).
  • Accounting qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA etc. or higher education Accounting or Finance degree.
  • IT proficient in hotel PMS/EPOS systems.
  • A natural leader who can motivate and lead a finance team successfully.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
