- Description
- Kerry Robert Associates are working with a well-established deluxe hotel
near Leicester, renowned for delivering exceptional guest experiences, high
service standards and strong commercial performance. This is an exciting
opportunity for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join a successful
hospitality team and play a key role in driving revenue growth across the
property.
We are seeking a proactive and commercially focused individual with previous hotel sales experience, who is passionate about building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and maximising revenue across corporate, leisure and events markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify, target and secure new business opportunities
across corporate, leisure, group and MICE markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, local
businesses and key accounts to generate repeat business and long-term
partnerships
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings and site visits to promote the
hotel’s facilities, bedrooms, meetings and events spaces.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and
increase market share.
- Work closely with the revenue, reservations and operations teams to ensure a
seamless guest and client experience from enquiry through to delivery.
- Attend networking events, trade shows and local business events to increase
brand awareness and generate leads.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends, identifying opportunities to
drive sales performance.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts and account updates for senior management.
- Manage and respond to incoming enquiries efficiently, converting opportunities
into confirmed business.
- Support with contract negotiations, account management and promotional
activity to maximise profitability.
Requirements
- Previous UK hotel sales experience is essential.
- Proven ability to proactively generate new business and build strong client
relationships.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality market, including corporate and
events sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage
multiple accounts effectively.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and commercially aware.
- Confident using hotel systems, CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Professional, enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
- Full UK driving licence preferred due to client visits and networking
responsibilities.
