- Kerry Robert Associates is
recruiting on behalf of a respected hospitality business seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join its Central London head office team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving operational excellence, developing teams, and improving financial processes. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function across a multi-site operation while contributing to ongoing systems and process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable
function across multiple locations
- Leading, mentoring and developing an
established AP team
- Overseeing invoice processing, coding
accuracy, approval workflows and compliance standards
- Acting as a key point of contact for suppliers
and resolving complex queries and disputes
- Managing supplier onboarding, account
maintenance and payment controls
- Coordinating weekly and monthly payment runs
in line with business cashflow requirements
- Monitoring supplier reconciliations, aged
balances and outstanding items
- Supporting month-end close activities,
including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Producing meaningful management information,
forecasts and AP performance reporting
- Maintaining strong financial controls, audit
readiness and VAT compliance
- Driving process improvements, automation
initiatives and system enhancements
- Working closely with Procurement, Operations
and Finance teams to improve efficiencies and best practice
Requirements
- Proven experience managing an Accounts Payable
function within a UK-based Hospitality, Retail or Leisure or other multi-sector is highly desirable
- Previous leadership experience with
responsibility for coaching, mentoring and developing team members
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable
processes, financial controls and supplier management
- Experience working within a multi-site, shared
service or centralised finance environment
- Excellent organisational, analytical and
problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management and
communication abilities
- Comfortable managing high-volume transactional
activity while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working
with various finance systems (such as SAP, Sage or Procure Wizard)
- AAT qualified of part-qualified Accountant is highly desirable

Location: Central London. This is primarily an on-site role, with the possibility of working from home one day per week.
