Description
Kerry Robert Associates are recruiting for a Financial Planning Manager (Systems driven) for a well-known hotel group, in which this position will be located at the groups head office in London. This position requires a strong individual, who ideally comes from a Group Management Accountant background and carries strong reporting/consolidation skills. You must also be a systems driven person with a solid commercial understanding of hotels.  

Reporting to the Finance Director directly and working closely with the executive Management team. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning Manager to oversee the implementation and management of an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system for our portfolio of hotels. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimising financial performance, enhancing data accuracy, and improving overall operational efficiency across the group.

Extensive knowledge of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI) and hotel operations is essential.


Requirements


EPM Implementation:
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of the EPM system across all hotel properties.
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of the EPM system.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful EPM deployment.

Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Oversee the financial planning and budgeting processes for the hotel portfolio.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.

USALI Compliance:

- Ensure all financial reporting and analysis adhere to USALI standards.
- Implement best practices for financial management in the hospitality industry.
- Provide training and support to finance and operational staff on USALI compliance.

Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial processes within the EPM system.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Skills needed:

Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on
- EPM implementation and management.
- Extensive knowledge of USALI and hotel operations is essential.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.

Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in EPM systems (e.g., Infor, Adaptive insight, Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC, Anaplan) and financial software.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI,Tableau).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

Salary : 60-70k per annum plus 20% bonus
