• Managing daily accounting processes including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  
• Preparing the P&L in full and balance sheet reconciliations 
  
• Budgeting, forecasting and managing the hotel cashflow 
  
• Overseeing the income audit, banking, and cash controls 
  
• Putting in place strong financial compliance standards 
  
• Providing financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting as required

Requirements

• Financial Controller experience acquired in a hotel or hospitality setting
  
• P&L and month end experience
  
• Forecasting and budgeting experience
  
• A natural leader who can motivate and lead small finance teams well
  
• Broad knowledge of all areas of a hotel finance department 
  
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and accounting/PMS systems 
  
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams 
  
• Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach
