Kerry Robert Associates are working closely with a well-established hotel group to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller for one of their stylish, modern properties in the heart of Central London.
This is a truly fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality finance professional looking to join a dynamic and supportive team, with genuine opportunities for career progression within a highly regarded hotel group.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of the fast-paced finance function, leading a small finance team and helping to drive the hotel's financial success.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting and overseeing the month-end close process
  • Preparing reconciliations and month-end journals
  • Reviewing profit & loss accounts and balance sheets
  • Assisting with financial reporting and analysis
  • Supporting the Financial Controller in improving financial performance
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a small finance team
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and embrace new technologies


Requirements

We're looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality finance and eager to make an impact.
The Essentials:
  • Previous hotel finance experience
  • Experience as a Finance Manager, Assistant Financial Controller, or be ready to step into a strong No.2 finance position
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience using accounting and PMS systems
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • A proactive mindset with an interest in technology and process improvements
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Location: Central London (On-site role) | Salary: Up to £40,000
