Kerry Robert Associates are working closely with a well-established hotel group to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller for one of their stylish, modern properties in the heart of Central London.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of the fast-paced finance function, leading a small finance team and helping to drive the hotel's financial success.
Your responsibilities will include:- Supporting and overseeing the month-end close
process
- Preparing reconciliations and month-end
journals
- Reviewing profit & loss accounts and
balance sheets
- Assisting with financial reporting and
analysis
- Supporting the Financial Controller in
improving financial performance
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a small
finance team
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes
and embrace new technologies
Requirements
We're looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality finance and eager to make an impact.
The Essentials:- Previous hotel finance
experience
- Experience as a Finance Manager, Assistant Financial
Controller, or be ready to step into a strong No.2 finance position
- Excellent Excel skills and experience using
accounting and PMS systems
- Previous supervisory or team leadership
experience
- A proactive mindset with an interest in
technology and process improvements
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to
thrive in a fast-paced environment
